Handover at Insurtech CLARK’s Top Management: Benedikt Kalteier succeeds Founder Christopher Oster and becomes the new CEO

• Leading European Insurtech CLARK announced today that Founder Christopher Oster personally decided to hand over his role of CEO to current Board member Benedikt Kalteier.

Frankfurt, Monday, June 10, 2024. After almost 10 years of building a profitable business, CLARK Founder Christopher Oster has decided to pass on the leadership of CLARK’s operations. He plans to accompany and support the Company as Chairman of the Supervisory Board in the future. 

Benedikt Kalteier, who has been a member of the CLARK Holding Management Board since the end of 2023 and is currently Managing Director in Germany, will take over the role of CEO. Before his time at CLARK, Benedikt Kalteier gained extensive experience in managing complex corporate structures as CEO of German Digital Insurer, CosmosDirekt, and as Chief Distribution Officer of leading Italian insurance company Generali in Germany, and has a deep understanding of the insurance industry and its players, especially in Europe.

In Germany, Benedikt Kalteier will be succeeded as CEO by Christer Schulz-Gärtner, who has been Managing Director in Germany for many years. Dominik Strebel completes the management team in Germany.
